A Creative Journey Back Home

These past two months brought some significant life changes I’ve moved back to my childhood home here in Texas. Even though my two munchkins are little, it’s still a tight squeeze. Space and privacy are in short supply. Regardless, I’ve set up a small creative corner—a desk tucked into my mom’s office/storage space. It’s far from a glamorous studio, but as they say, creativity has no boundaries, right? Most evenings, I’m there rocking Jake to sleep, balancing life as a father and artist.

Despite the cozy setup, I’m excited to share that I’ve begun a new piece in the Mistral series, working with vibrant acrylic inks on Dura-Lar. The highly saturated colors will impart even more vibrancy to the series. Finally, returning to art-making feels revitalizing, even in this makeshift studio.

Artwork Looking for a New Home

If you’re interested in adding some art to your space—or finding a unique gift for the holiday season—my work is on view and available for purchase at 2358MRKT Gallery (Mistral series) and Galerie Alpine (Les Reconfigurations series). Every bit of support counts, whether that’s a purchase or simply sharing my work with a friend.
